Forex NZDUSD USDJPY  An upgrade to its credit rating sent the Kiwi higher while risk aversion saw the Yen strengthen -vs- the US Dollar 
Equity  CHINA H Shares NIFTY 50  Chinese stocks were modestly higher ahead of today's CPI report. Indian stocks were lower as worries about the impending budget led to a sharp bout of profit taking
Commodity US OIL (WTI) HEATING OIL  US Crude oil was a bit higher on expectations of a drop in supply.
    A technical analysis indicator used to try and determine the short-term trend of the market. The pivot point is the average of the high, low and closing prices from the previous trading day. If the market in the following day trades above the pivot point it is thought to be exhibiting bullish sentiment, whereas trading below the pivot point is seen as bearish.
