Asian Session Recap - US $ slightly stronger

22:45 UTC New Zealand trade balances for June came in at NZ$ 414M vs. +NZ$ 39M prior.  Nzd/Usd trades to its session high of 0.8010   

23:50 UTC Japanese June trade deficit widened to -Y180.8b.  Exports were up 7.4% Y/Y vs. 10.1% prior, imports were up 11.8% Y/Y vs. +10.1% prior.

01:30 UTC Australian CPI 0.4% Q/Q vs. 0.4% prior, 2.4% Y/Y vs. 2.5% prior.  Aud/Usd initially dropped 30 points to 0.9250, but quickly snapped back to 0.9320

01:45 UTC HSBC July Manufacturing PMI 47.7 vs. 48.2 prior.  Aud/Usd drops back down to 0.9250.

Aside from Aussie Dollars wild swings, it’s been a fairly quiet session.  The Dollar is slightly stronger with Euro testing 1.3200 while the Pound is hovering near the 1.5350 level.  Usd/Jpy is also trading close to its session high.
