British construction PMI is at its best since October 2012, a further sign of improvements in the local economy. While cable still down 6 percent against the dollar this year, Thursday sees the last BOE meeting chaired by Governor Mervyn King before Carney takes over in July. Always good to leave on an upswing even if Mark Carney has a lot to do. But because it is King’s last meeting, don’t expect a lot of anything but thanks from everyone for King’s stewardship in the past. For FX investors, the future is the only thing that matter however.
