FRANKFURT (MNI) - A sustained upward movement in the exchange rate of the euro would have the potential to shift risks in the Eurozone's inflation outlook, ECB President Mario Draghi repeated Thursday.
After citing the G20's recent comunique on exchange rate, Draghi said, "I
also said that the exchange rate ... the sustained appreciation of the
euro...has the potential to alter inflation risks."
Draghi said that the ECB stood by the words of the G20 comunique on the
issue of the exchange rate. "I won't be the first to violate this commitment,"
