Canadian Dollar

Posted by Joseph Trevisani on Feb 28, 2013 4:09:00 PM

Dollar-Canada is back over 1.0300 and shows no sign of stopping this time. The pair earlier took out the prior 2013 high of 1.0302 high (February 26) to test 1.0309, before meeting a wave of dollar selling into the London fixing, that sent dollar-Canada back into the 1.0270s.

Since then, the pair has crept steadily higher and just topped out at 1.0314, the highest levels since June 28, 2012 (1.0363 high). A break of the June 28, 2012 peak would target a test of that month's high near 1.0447, seen June 4.
